Step 1: Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F).
Step 2: Prepare a 20x20 cm baking pan, lined with parchment paper.
Step 3: In a saucepan, melt the butter together with dark chocolate. Let it cool slightly.
Step 4: In a bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla until just combined.
Step 5: Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.
Step 6: Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix just until combined.
Step 7: Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Step 8: On half of the brownie, scatter the floured cherries 🍒 and gently press them in.
Step 9: Bake for 22–25 minutes, until the center is set but still moist. Let it cool completely.
